Additional Technical Information

The quick fixing system enables easy installation by two people. It also enables easy ladder height adjustment. The loft hatch door is built within a pine wood frame, finished one each side with a white high density fibre panel.

The loft hatch is 36mm thick insulated with an insulation coefficient of 1.1W/m, making this ladder draft proof. The loft hatch door is edge sealed with a sealing strip to minimize heat loss through the door.

The outer side (visible when closed) of the hatch door is smooth- with no fixing points visible. The internal lock and metal pole supplied enable easy opening and closing of the loft hatch door.

Accurate installation is possible with the fitted angle brackets. The unique opening mechanism design gives easy access into the loft.
