Arke Komoda Staircases

The KOMODA staircase by Arke is adjustable in rise, going and rotation. All of which can be decided during the installation.

This makes the Komoda a very adaptable staircase.

The treads and the handrail are in light (natural) or dark tinted solid beech. The metal parts are varnished black (RAL 9017), white (RAL 9010) or grey (RAL 9006). Finishes are black for the black staircase and grey for the grey or white staircases.

The railing consists of varnished steel balusters and stainless steel cables running parallel to the handrail.

The Arke KOMODA staircase has an adjustable height between 191 and 303 cm. By purchasing certain supplementary items, the staircase height can reach 373 cm.

The different arrangement of the following options allow the creation of 156 different configurations.

12 treads (13 rises) and the choice of going
KOMODA 74 from 18 to 22 cm
KOMODA 89 from 22 to 26 cm

Supplementary balustrade in 120 cm modules.
Supplementary railing with 4 balusters and steel cables.
Supplementary rise.

Tread Detail in Light -

To comply with Building Regulations it is likely you will require riser bars. These sit underneath each tread and are designed to prevent small children becoming trapped between the open treads. For more informatiion on Building Regulations click here

Kompact from Arke is arguably the most versatile staircase in the world, thanks to the patented adjustable rise, going and rotation at installation. Choose from a huge array of straight flight, L-shape or U-shape alternatives to suit your well size and shape.

Adjustable for floor heights from 1.91m to 3.03m - additional kits enable height to be extended to 3.73m
Direction can be an L-shape or a U-shape
Additional parts available include - rises, handrails and balustrades
Colour - Black / White / Grey

Crafted from solid beech and steel , with a number of colour variations, Kompact will complement most interiors beautifully.

Kompact can be used for primary or secondary staircase projects, thanks to two widths of 74cm and 89cm (contact Building Control for clarification). Click here to plan your Kompact with our configurator.

The basic Kompact staircase is suitable for floor heights up to 3.03m. Additional (tread) components are available to make your Kompact even more versatile, with heights up to 3.73m. A second staircase railing can be added if the stair is away from the wall. Supplementary balustrading is also available for upper floors in natural and dark PVC wood effect. Please note the upper floor balustrade is not suitable for circular wells.
