Kompact from Arke is arguably the most versatile staircase in the world, thanks to the patented adjustable rise, going and rotation at installation. Choose from a huge array of straight flight, L-shape or U-shape alternatives to suit your well size and shape.

Crafted from solid beech and steel , with a number of colour variations, Kompact will complement most interiors beautifully.

The basic Kompact staircase is suitable for floor heights up to 3.03m. Additional (tread) components are available to make your Kompact even more versatile, with heights up to 3.73m. A second staircase railing can be added if the stair is away from the wall. Supplementary balustrading is also available for upper floors in natural and dark PVC wood effect. Please note the upper floor balustrade is not suitable for circular wells.

1. Additional balustrade, 120 cm modular units.
2. Additional secondary rail in segments of 5 uprights.
3. Additional tread: step and primary rail structure.

To comply with Building Regulations it is likely you will require riser bars. These sit underneath each tread and are designed to prevent small children becoming trapped between the open treads. For more informatiion on Building Regulations click here
