Our loft hatches are a great addition when buying one of our loft ladders that do not come with a hatch as standard. All our hatches are tested to the Buildings Regulations 2000 requirements.

The Drop Down / Lift Out loft hatch is our bestselling access door and has a twist action catch that connects with the loft hatch frame in 3 places to create a secure, draught proof fit. This loft hatch comes with a pole connection for easy opening and closing. The loft hatch door can be removed when moving large boxes / items into and out of the loft space. This loft hatch is available in the following size:

  eal791 said: The hatch is made of heavy duty plastic and has a rubber seal around the door for a secure and airtight fit. The door attaches in 3 places making sure it doesn't sag. Polystyrene on inside of door makes it insulated. Looks good installed and was so easy to put in. Ours reqired a small amout of packing, but took about 30 minutes to put up. Excellent product and good value.
